DAPD is a system Designed for Adventure & Prepared for Disaster. It auto-detects accidents and sends out a signal to all nearby devices to get you help fast, regardless of the network connection. You can communicate with surrounding users and get destination guidance to preregistered meeting points or a home base. Thanks to the combination of radio waves, GPS and MEMS, makes it possible to work in off grid areas. The concept has been validated by the Swedish Deficiency Research Agency.
